Call for Projects 2024: The application period is now open

Barcelona Music Lab Foundation Launches a Call for Funding Innovation Projects in the Music and Audio Sector

Barcelona Music Lab Foundation has announced the launch of a funding call aimed at projects that drive innovation and transformation in the music and audio sector. With a global budget of €120,000, the Foundation seeks to support initiatives bringing new ideas and business models focused on technology and sustainability, with the goal of shaping the future of the music industry.

This call is open to both individuals and organizations with a registered office in Spain, presenting innovative projects with a significant impact on the sector. Projects may apply under two different categories:

  • Technological Category: Projects that integrate disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, blockchain, streaming platforms, and other tools that may enhance music creation, distribution, or user experience.
  • Non-Technological Category: Projects that do not incorporate advanced technologies but bring innovations in sustainability, social inclusion, or new business models for the music industry.

The submission period for proposals runs from November 12 to November 26. Projects will be evaluated based on their level of innovation, technical feasibility, sustainability, and their impact on the industry and society. Selected projects may receive up to 100% of the requested funding, depending on the proposal’s quality and feasibility.
